What alab'Arte is known for
alab'Arte is the last active alabaster-carving workshop in Volterra, where artisans Roberto Chiti and Giorgio Finazzo hand-sculpt one-of-a-kind pieces from genuine alabaster rather than imitation materials. Finished sculptures and lighting are sold from their shop on Via Don Minzoni, a short walk from the Via Orti di Sant'Agostino workshop.
