What Barroquema Cerámica is known for
Barroquema, in Tumbaco near Quito, has run high-temperature artistic ceramics experimentation, creation and training since the early 1980s, offering artistic, utilitarian and decorative pieces alongside firing services and technical consultation. Its current "Obsidiana" exhibition, part of a residency program, includes three numbered pieces, with team members Marco, Juana, Sofia and Elisa listed on the site.
