What Beyond Roots is known for
Beyond Roots is a Havana project founded in 2016 around Afro-Cuban culture, combining cultural experiences with a shop for clothing, accessories and objects by Cuban makers. Its retail arm grew from a portable store into a permanent Afro-style shop while the wider project continued its cultural programming.
