What Byloom is known for
Rumi and Bappaditya Biswas opened Byloom in 2011 to work directly with weaving clusters producing jamdani, double-cloth, and fine muslin cotton, adapting handloom techniques for everyday wear rather than only formal saris. The Kolkata store and its weaver partners also turn out kurtas, dupattas, scarves, and handwoven home textiles.
