What Canfora is known for
Amedeo Canfora opened this workshop at the start of Via Camerelle in the late 1940s, cutting and nailing leather sandals to measure opposite the Grand Hotel Quisisana. The house famously shod Jackie Kennedy and still hand-finishes jeweled and plain pairs in its back-room atelier.
