DeLille Cellars

DeLille Cellars was founded in 1992 by brothers Charles and Greg Lill, together with Jay Soloff and winemaker Chris Upchurch. Soloff and Upchurch had met in 1974 and long discussed going into the wine business together; the opportunity came when Soloff, who knew Greg Lill through their local Rotary Club, suggested using the Lills' 10-acre Woodinville farm for a winery. Founded that year, DeLille is described by the Washington State Wine Commission and local coverage as the oldest operating winery in Woodinville, Washington. The winery built its reputation on Bordeaux-style red blends made from Washington-grown fruit, and its wines have received more than 950 individual scores of 90 points or higher from wine critics and publications.
