Faliero Sarti

What Faliero Sarti is known for

Prato textile house founded 1949, still family-run; third-generation Monica Sarti launched the first scarf collection in 2000, woven from cashmere, wool, silk and modal at the family mill.

Faliero Sarti's roots go back to 1948-1949 in Prato, Tuscany, when its namesake founder began working fine yarns - cashmere, virgin wool and silk - into knit fabrics and jersey, eventually supplying haute couture and pret-a-porter houses. In 1991 third-generation family member Monica Sarti began developing scarves for the house, and the first dedicated Faliero Sarti scarf collection launched in 2000. Today the range spans cashmere, wool, silk and modal scarves and stoles, alongside a home collection, sold through the company's own boutiques (Florence, Rome, Milan, Forte dei Marmi, Porto Rotondo) and its e-commerce site.
