Fengqing Chensheng Hong Tea Co. is the Dianhong-focused offshoot of Chen Shenghe's Chen Sheng Hao tea house, established in 2019 in Fengqing County -- a part of Lincang, Yunnan, promoted locally as the "world capital of Dianhong red tea." Chen Shenghe, who built his reputation over more than 50 years in the trade and is best known for founding the Menghai-based pu-erh house Chen Sheng Hao, brought that experience to Fengqing to focus on the region's own specialty: red tea pressed from local large-leaf tea-tree material. The company's headquarters sits on roughly 200 mu (about 33 acres) of ground the company describes as a garden-style, ecological "green factory," backed by a planned investment north of 200 million yuan and a workforce of more than 150. Its catalog runs from everyday loose-leaf tins and gift sets to seasonal releases and portable tea bags, all built around the high-altitude Dianhong style that gave Fengqing its name in the tea trade. The brand trades on continuity with Chen Shenghe's decades of hands-on tea-making rather than novelty -- a newer company built on an old maker's technique, rooted specifically in Fengqing's growing conditions rather than trying to replicate Menghai's pu-erh identity.
