Firecreek's story starts at 111 Roasting Works in Flagstaff, the company's original roastery and still its Northern Arizona training center, where new staff learn to pull shots and dial in roasts before working any of the brand's six Arizona locations. The flagship Flagstaff cafe occupies a converted downtown filling station at 22 East Route 66, pouring the house Campfire Blend, a medium roast, alongside a rotating list of single origins and a straight decaf. Outside Flagstaff, Firecreek's other cafes lean into unusual buildings: the Phoenix Roastery and Cafe operates out of a renovated 1940s department store, while the City Square location in Phoenix is built inside a shipping container. A Sedona outpost in the Village of Oak Creek and a bakery at Sedona's Big Park round out the map. The team behind the counter is described on the company's own site as 'entrepreneurial engineers, artists, musicians, and designers who've become coffee professionals' — a mixed background reflected in the wholesale side of the business, which supplies roasted beans to cafes, restaurants and grocery stores across the state alongside its own retail bags and subscriptions.
