Fusalp

Fusalp was founded in 1952 on the shores of Lake Annecy by two tailors, Georges Ribola and Rene Veyrat, both avid skiers who set out to design a better alternative to the era's conventional ski trousers. Their answer was the 'fuseau,' a slim, body-conscious ski pant that gave the brand its name. At the 1966 world ski championships in Portillo, Chile, Ribola and Veyrat produced one of the first true competition ski suits. Fusalp built its profile through champion athletes including the Goitschel sisters and Jean-Claude Killy. In recent years the brand has been repositioned as a luxury label under the Lacoste family.
