What Gallery Delta is known for
Established in 1975 and later housed in the 1894 former home of landscape painter Robert Paul on Livingstone Avenue, Gallery Delta ran a changing programme of Zimbabwean painting, graphics, ceramics and mixed-media sculpture. It exhibited and sold contemporary work while serving as a research resource for collectors and students of the country's art. The gallery closed in April 2022 after the deaths of founders Helen Lieros and Derek Huggins.
