GEMA by Arts and Gems opened in Doha's Msheireb Downtown district in September 2022, founded by Mariam Ali Al Khalaf, daughter of Ali Hassan Al Khalaf, the businessman behind the long-established Doha jeweler Arts and Gems. The boutique operates as a multi-brand fine jewelry destination, curating pieces from more than a dozen international and regional designers including Alia Mouzannar, Nada Ghazal, Noora Shawqi, Lina Rai, Rock BY GS, and Van Den Abeele. Alongside these outside labels, GEMA carries an in-house collection, Gema by Mariam, designed by the founder herself. The store's range spans rings, earrings, necklaces, pendants, bracelets, bangles, chains, anklets, and brooches. It is located at Al Khail Street, Building No. 503, in Msheireb, the Qatari capital's purpose-built downtown redevelopment district.
