What Glasshytta på Vikten is known for
Glasshytta på Vikten began in a basement in the 1970s, when Åsvar Tangrand opened what is described as Northern Norway's first glass studio after training with Finnish glassblower Pertti Merilainen. Since 1992 the workshop has operated from a purpose-built seaside building in Vikten, selling hand-blown glass and pottery, including the studio's signature Lofotruna design.
