What Hadong Silk is known for
This family-owned silk house has occupied a four-storey French-colonial building at 102 Hang Gai since 1998, selling mulberry-silk garments, scarves and fabric by the metre. Past visitors include Hillary Clinton, who stopped in during a state visit in 2000.
