What Hellerschmid is known for
Founded in 1948, Hellerschmid is a private distillery in Krems producing apricot brandy, the preserved-fruit specialty B'soffene Marille, and honey from its own apiary. Its Marillenbrand and liqueurs are built entirely around the Wachau's Marille apricot.
