What Herpac is known for
Founded in Barbate in 1986, Herpac cures Atlantic bluefin taken from the local almadraba trap-nets into mojama carrying the Protected Geographical Indication, alongside smoked fish, roe and salt-cured sardine and mackerel. The catalogue runs from vacuum-packed loins to tinned semi-conservas dispatched from the firm's plant in the Polígono El Olivar.
