What Human Nature Flagship is known for
Human Nature's flagship concept store on Commonwealth Avenue, Quezon City, designed around an 'enchanted forest' theme by architects Mau Adraneda and Joyce Angara. It opened in 2012 as the brand's first dedicated retail space.
Human Nature opened its first dedicated concept store on Commonwealth Avenue in Quezon City in 2012, welcomed at the time by company president Anna Meloto-Wilk. Designed by Filipina architects Mau Adraneda and Joyce Angara, the flagship was built around an 'enchanted forest' concept, with products displayed against a tree-trunk centerpiece and some items arranged in heart-shaped groupings rather than standard shelving.
Beyond its own personal-care and cosmetics lines — hair, skin, hand and body, baby and kids, and mineral makeup among them — the flagship store set aside a dedicated corner for other Filipino social enterprises, a feature the brand built into the concept from the start. Products showcased in that space have included Café de Sug coffee sourced from Sulu under the Gawad Kalinga program, Jacinto & Lirio bags made from water hyacinth, Rags2Riches accessories from repurposed cloth, Theo & Philo bean-to-bar chocolate, and a Dumagat-woven Rattan Man plate line, alongside novelty pieces like a working bamboo bicycle.
The store also built in a dedicated children's corner, letting parents shop while kids are occupied nearby.
