What Imiso Ceramics is known for
Founded in 2006 by Andile Dyalvane and Zizipho Poswa, this Woodstock studio-gallery hand-builds and throws vessels marked with Dyalvane's incised scarification patterns drawn from Xhosa tradition. Alongside the sculptural collectible pieces, the shelves hold more everyday bowls, cups and platters made on site.
