Jaipur Rugs

Jaipur Rugs traces its craft to the 16th century, when Jaipur weavers adapted Persian knotting techniques, and operates from its Jaipur headquarters with showrooms across India and abroad. Each rug passes through roughly 180 pairs of hands across carding and dyeing in more than 3,000 colors, with hand-knotting that can take up to a year and a decorative shearing technique called Gultarash, connecting rural artisan work with buyers internationally.
