What Keith Nix Knives is known for
Keith Nix hand makes chef's, hunting, belt, and outdoor knives in Black Mountain from steels including AEB-L, CPM MagnaCut, CPM M4, and D2, with locally sourced wood handles, in-house heat treating, and cryogenic quenching. Sheaths are vegetable-tanned leather made by Curtis Cooper, and Nix also offers professional knife and scissors sharpening.
