Kermit's Key West Key Lime Shoppe

Kermit Carpenter began selling key lime smoothies from a sidewalk stand outside a Duval Street restaurant in 1993, then opened this corner shop with his sister Anita and her husband John. Three decades later the flagship at Elizabeth and Greene streets still dips whole pies, pie-on-a-stick, and pie bars in chocolate by hand, alongside key lime juice, taffy, and fudge made to the original family recipe.
