What Kiliim is known for
Kiliim revives Egyptian flatweave by commissioning handwoven kilim rugs, cushions and tableware from artisan communities in Fowa, Qena, Fayoum and Luxor, and has expanded into handmade pottery and blown glass. Co-founded by Noha El Taher, the brand runs a Sarayat El Maadi studio store and a Sheikh Zayed flagship.
