Klavon's Ice Cream Parlor occupies a restored 1923 apothecary and soda fountain in Pittsburgh's Strip District, with original marble counters and a candy counter still stocked with penny candy. The Hanchar family has run the shop since 2013 and now makes its own ice cream after completing Penn State's ice cream-making course.
