What Kloster Disentis Shop is known for
The gatehouse shop of the Benedictine abbey sells what the monks produce on site, including bread and Brother Gerhard's nut cake from the monastery bakery, quince liqueur, black monastery mustard, monastery yogurt and monastery beer. Its shelves also carry produce from the cloister garden along with books and devotional items from the community.
