What KPM Berlin (Konigliche Porzellan-Manufaktur) is known for
Founded in 1763 as the Prussian royal porcelain works, KPM still hand-forms and hand-paints its tableware and figures at the Charlottenburg manufactory on Wegelystrasse. Patterns such as Kurland and Urbino carry the cobalt-blue sceptre mark that has signed each piece for more than 260 years.
