Le Mouton Vert is a Patagonian wool label run by designer Paulina Escobar out of an atelier and boutique at Carlos Bories 367 in Puerto Natales, the gateway town to Torres del Paine. The brand describes its own aesthetic as "discreet, sober and minimalist from the end of the world," a positioning that leans into Patagonia's remote geography as a design identity rather than just a manufacturing location. Its core material is Patagonian merino wool, worked into what the brand frames as sustainable luxury pieces - premium natural fiber chosen deliberately over synthetic alternatives. The business carries Chile's official "Marca Chile" certification, a government-backed mark used to recognize Chilean brands representing national quality and cultural heritage, giving the label a formal stamp beyond its own marketing language. Escobar's work extends past the shop itself: she also runs design consultancy and courses, interior design projects, content creation, and a separate venture, Cafeteria La Colona, showing the atelier as one part of a broader creative practice rather than a single-focus retail business.
