What Medelhavsmuseet Shop is known for
The Museum of Mediterranean and Near Eastern Antiquities imports much of its shop's stock directly from Egypt, including hand-blown recycled glass, brass lanterns, and cotton shawls woven in villages in the south of the country. Alongside gilded ibis figurines made in a small Cairo family workshop and ceramics from Fayyoum, the shop also carries soaps from Aleppo and a browsable selection of books.
