My Space Café & Concept Store

My Space Café and Concept Store opened in November 2021 inside Staybridge Suites Doha Lusail, combining a hotel coffee shop with a retail concept store featuring independent designers under one 24-hour roof. The café side is run directly by the hotel, while the concept store portion showcases roughly 18 local and international designers selling clothing, perfume, home décor, paintings, candles and accessories - among them Tina's Fashion Accessories, Le Bag by Pamela Rammouz, Moudi Boutique, Paula Bouffard and Kinam Artisan Oud & Perfume, spanning designers based in Qatar, Lebanon, Greece and Canada. According to general manager Soha Zahar, speaking to The Peninsula at launch, the concept began during the Covid-19 pandemic specifically to give designers without their own storefronts in Doha a place to exhibit their work, starting with a single designer, Paula Bouffard, before growing by word of mouth and Instagram outreach to its current roster. The store is positioned inside the hotel lobby rather than as a standalone retail address, letting guests combine a coffee stop with browsing rotating designer pieces in the same space. Zahar described the space's appeal in blunt terms: "it's funky and funny" - a deliberate departure from a conventional single-brand hotel gift shop.
