What Nagada is known for
Founded around a handloom in the early 1990s, Nagada weaves Egyptian cotton and linen into handwoven cloth that becomes galabeyas, kimonos, coats and dresses, plus home textiles from its Loom Collection. The design house works out of The Villa on Refaa Street in Dokki and builds each season around natural fibres and traditional loom techniques.
