What Peace Outfitters is known for
Started as a military-surplus store by the Chatinsky family in 1973 and rooted in Flagstaff since 1976, this Route 66 outfitter (long known as Peace Surplus) grew into a full outdoor shop and passed to the Ahmed family in 2021. It sells and rents skiing, climbing, camping, and river-running gear.
