What Prokritee is known for
A fair-trade producer founded in 2001 that supports over 1,500 rural artisans across ten centres making baskets, handmade paper, crochet and palm-fibre goods from recycled sari, jute and silk. A WFTO member, it won the organisation's 2015 design award for a handmade-paper ornament and exports from its Asad Gate base.
