What Strellson is known for
Swiss menswear house founded 1984-85 in Kreuzlingen by brothers Uwe and Jochen Holy, former Hugo Boss executives who rebranded coat manufacturer Friedrich Straehl and Co. Now part of the Holy Fashion Group.
Strellson originated in 1984 when Uwe and Jochen Holy, who had previously run Hugo Boss, acquired and rebranded the Swiss coat manufacturer Friedrich Straehl and Co. AG, based in Kreuzlingen. The first full collection followed in 1985, positioned as a non-conformist menswear brand distinct from traditional tailoring houses. From 1999 to 2012 Strellson held the European license for Tommy Hilfiger Tailored Clothing, and in 2003 it launched its Swiss Cross jacket line. In 2005, Strellson AG merged with Windsor GmbH to form the Holy Fashion Group. The company remains Switzerland's largest menswear manufacturer, based in Kreuzlingen.
