What Tar Heel Trading Co. is known for
Tar Heel Trading Co. has sold American-made handcrafts at Duck's Scarborough Lane Shoppes since 1979, carrying pottery, jewelry, glass, and wood from more than 200 craftspeople. Founded by Mary Ames and later run by longtime employee Judy Joyce, the shop has been owned by Liz and Jamie McBain since 2023.
