Tea Mountain

Tea Mountain has operated since 2008 from a shop at Krizikova 488/115 in Prague's Karlin district, open weekdays from 11am to 8pm and also serving as a pickup point for online orders. The catalog is organized both by tea type -- white, green, semi-oxidized (oolong), black, pu-erh and herbal or fruit infusions -- and by origin, with a clear emphasis on Asian tea-producing countries: China, Japan, Taiwan, India and Nepal. The shop traces its own roots to Himalayan Darjeeling, describing those teas as foundational to how the business started, and it continues to bring in seasonal harvests such as fresh spring teas and Taiwanese oolongs as they come into season rather than running a static year-round list. Beyond loose-leaf tea, Tea Mountain sells teaware and brewing accessories and runs in-store tastings, giving customers a way to sample before committing to a particular origin or grade. Now in its second decade on the same Karlin address, the shop has kept a narrow specialist focus -- tea and the equipment to brew it -- rather than expanding into a broader cafe or gift-shop format, with the founding Darjeeling connection still framed as the throughline of its sourcing story.
