What The Goods Shed is known for
The Goods Shed is a Victorian former railway goods building beside Canterbury West station, converted in 2002 into a permanent farmers' market and food hall. Under its timber roof sit a butcher, the city's only independent fishmonger, a greengrocer, bakery and cheese counters, with a restaurant above cooking from the stalls below.
