The brand's macramé tapestries — with names like Chichén, Uxmal, and Mazunte pointing to the region's Maya sites and coastline — are handmade by local artisans and sized for statement walls, from a modest 90-centimeter round to a two-by-two-meter showpiece. Beyond tapestries, Timesia's Mérida workshop turns out henequén rugs, cotton and nylon lamps, hammocks, and decorative accents like woven totems and wall moons, all rooted in the same fiber-craft techniques historically tied to the region's henequén industry. The brand also takes custom commissions, working with clients on color, size, and material for made-to-order pieces — a sideline substantial enough to have brought in hospitality names like RCD Hotels and Hard Rock, alongside Mexican retailer Liverpool. Visitors can see the full range at the physical shop on Calle 60, in the heart of Mérida's historic center, where the same artisan techniques used for export pieces are on display in person.
