What Tsuruya General Store is known for
Run since April 1966 beside the Hirayu Onsen bus terminal, Tsuruya Shoten stocks Okuhida sake and shochu, hoba miso and Hida wagyu curry alongside its own hot-spring cosmetics blended with Tsuru-no-yu spring water. The shop also carries the area's soft-boiled onsen eggs, sansho spice blends and mineral bath salts drawn from the surrounding springs.
