What ÚĽUV – Centre for Folk Art Production is known for
The state folk-art centre established in 1945 runs Bratislava's Regional Craft Centre with a gallery and shop stocking work by registered Slovak masters, from Modra majolica and blue-print textiles to carved wood, corn-husk figures and woven basketry. Its craftsmen's demonstrations and courses keep techniques like fujara flute-making and čičmany embroidery in active practice.
