Unearthed Australian Opal is run by Dan Measey, who grew up in Coober Pedy and mines rough opal and opalised fossils from his own working claim, selling them alongside finished jewellery and cut and polished stones with no middlemen. Dan has appeared on Discovery Channel's Outback Opal Hunters and also runs hands-on mining experiences for customers.
