Velia Sierra Design has been working with Italian linen since 1982, when the family business now behind the label began producing clothing under the philosophy 'manos mexicanas, tessuti italiani' — Mexican hands, Italian fabrics. Four decades on, that combination still defines the house: certified Italian linen, pre-washed and finished with natural softeners, cut and sewn entirely in Mexico.

The collections split into womenswear — blouses, trousers, skirts, dresses and tailored jackets — and a smaller menswear line of shirts, jogger trousers and overshirts, alongside linen accessories like woven bags and resin jewelry. Pricing sits in the designer-boutique range, with pieces regularly discounted 30 to 60 percent during seasonal sales.

The brand operates physical stores in three Mexican destinations: a flagship in San Miguel de Allende's Centro Histórico, a shop in the resort town of Punta de Mita, and a location in Guadalajara's Providencia neighborhood.
