Viña Ocucaje

Ocucaje valley, south of Ica (near Huacachina)

What Viña Ocucaje is known for

Vines have grown in the fossil-rich Ocucaje valley south of Ica since colonial times, and the estate took its modern form after Italian immigrant Virgilio Rubini became a partner in 1928 and expanded pisco and wine production. Now overseen by the Eljuri family, the bodega distills labels such as Pisco 100 Años and Gran Pisco Selección de la Familia and sells them, along with hand-thrown huaco-style ceramics, through its own site.

Best for — Family-run pisco and wine from a historic desert valley estate
