W. Kruk

Poland

What W. Kruk is known for

Poland's oldest jewelry company, tracing to an 1840 Poznan workshop; renamed W.Kruk after Wladyslaw Kruk took over in 1893, it's now a national chain of 160+ stores, Poland's exclusive Rolex (2004) and Patek Philippe (2020) representative, with a manufactory near Poznan.

W.KRUK's history begins in 1840, when Leon Skrzetuski opened a workshop in Poznan producing liturgical items and made-to-order jewelry. His nephew, Wladyslaw Kruk, took over the business in 1893 and became the first jeweler in the Poznan market to publish an illustrated catalog; in 1896 he opened the first salon under the W.Kruk name. The firm expanded into Swiss watch brands between the wars, modernized production starting in 1974, and listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange in 2003. It became Poland's official Rolex representative in 2004 and Poland's exclusive Patek Philippe representative in 2020. Today W.KRUK operates more than 160 stores across Poland.
