Welcome Bio Bazar

Welcome Bio Bazar opened in October 2016 at 13 Rue Boulle in Paris's 11th arrondissement, near Bastille, founded by siblings George, Marge, and Corinne Fischer. The bazar was the third stage of the family's Welcome Bio project on the same street: they first opened a Biocoop-style organic grocery in 2013, followed by a restaurant in 2014, before adding the concept store two years later. The shop was designed to be laid out like an apartment, with sections organized around a living room, bathroom, kitchen, bedroom, playroom, and garden, each stocked with eco-conscious versions of everyday household goods rather than being arranged as a conventional retail floor. The selection favors local and French-made products, short supply chains, and bulk or package-free sales where possible, spanning categories from cleaning and kitchen goods to children's items and beauty products. A café component operates alongside the retail space, giving visitors a place to sit with a coffee or browse a book on the shop's terrace rather than treating the visit purely as a shopping errand. Together, the three Welcome Bio addresses on Rue Boulle — grocery, restaurant, and bazar — have been covered in Paris lifestyle press as forming one of the city's more concentrated clusters of dedicated organic and eco-responsible retail, anchored by the Fischer family's original grocery concept.
