Founded in 1861 by Bavarian Gustav Clauss, Achaia Clauss is a Greek winery making Mavrodaphne of Patras, still ageing 1873 barrels in its Imperial Cellar. Visitors tour the stone winecastle and old oak casks and taste at the historic Cava Danielis.
