Adnym Atelier

Adnym Atelier was founded in Stockholm in 2016 by Frippe Persson, Johni Tadi and Stefan Söderberg, three people with backgrounds in mainstream denim rather than fashion design as such. Söderberg had worked on product for Levi's and helped shape Acne Studios' denim line in the early 2000s before co-founding the Stockholm label Hope; Persson came from a background at VF Corporation, the parent company behind brands including Wrangler and Lee. The name is shorthand for 'Anonymous Dystopia.' Adnym's core idea is a gender-neutral approach to the five-pocket jean, loosening and reworking a garment historically cut differently for men and women into a single silhouette, alongside oversized T-shirts, hoodies and tailored pieces that mix Scandinavian minimalism with the founders' Middle Eastern influences. The label has shown at Stockholm Fashion Week and been covered by trade press including WWD's Sourcing Journal for its gender-free approach to office-adjacent denim.
