Amomento is a Seoul-based ready-to-wear label founded in 2016 by designer MK Lee (Mikyung Lee), growing out of Shop Amomento, a multi-brand boutique she opened in Seoul's Jongno district in 2015. Her brother, Myeongsoo Lee, joined the company in 2016 and the label has since expanded from womenswear into a unisex/menswear line in 2021. The collections are built around structured, architectural silhouettes - oversized-shoulder shirts, curved-leg trousers, precise seam placement - made largely from organic cotton and other sustainably sourced fabrics supplied by partners in Japan and Europe. Lee has described the brand's approach as pursuing essential beauty through clothes that become more comfortable and personal as they are worn. Amomento operates a flagship store in Seoul and, per recent trade coverage, is carried by more than 120 stockists in 19 countries, including Printemps in Paris, Assembly New York, The Frankie Shop, and Slam Jam.
