Atelier de Planois

Christine Marbacher-Quintard turns and hand-paints wooden toys, puzzles, and home objects from locally sourced Vosges wood in a small workshop and showroom in the Planois hamlet, on the departmental road linking Vagney to La Bresse. During school holidays she opens the workshop floor for chantournage (fretwork woodturning) demonstrations, giving visitors a direct look at how each piece is shaped and finished with water-based paint and natural varnish.
