Backerei & Konditorei Braune has baked bread, pastries and celebration cakes from its Friedrich-Ebert-Strasse shop in Potsdam since the family business was founded in 1734, now run by Birgit Gniosdorz. The bakery has repeatedly won the Goldene Brezel award, including in 2025 (the bakery's awards list), and gold medals from the German Bread Institute for its Kaviarbrot and Kommissbrot.
