Baroque Coffee Roastery works out of Timișoara, roasting in small, closely rotated batches under head roaster Alin Laiu rather than settling into a fixed year-round lineup. The house splits its offer into two named ranges: Nucleus, built for daily drinking with an emphasis on balance and consistency, and Adventure, reserved for less conventional lots — unusual processing methods and rarer varietals meant to push drinkers past a standard cup. Current single origins span Brazil (a lot from Montanari), several Colombian farms including Finca Milan, Betania and Chapoleros, an Ethiopian Lala Salama decaf, a Peruvian San Antonio, and an Indonesian Tuang lot, giving the roastery a working spread across South America, East Africa and Southeast Asia at any given time. The roastery describes a sourcing approach built around tasting rather than reputation — evaluating a lot for the acidity and flavor clarity that actually shows up in the cup, instead of buying on a farm's name alone. Alongside retail bags sold through its own shop, Baroque runs a wholesale program supplying cafés with freshly roasted beans on request, with free delivery above 200 lei for direct customers. No tea offerings currently appear in its catalog. It reads as a working specialty roaster sized to one Romanian city — rotating origins, two structured product lines, and a wholesale book.
