Choco Bonté

Choco Bonté was founded in Olomouc in 2015, in a Moravian town with its own long chocolate-making history, and its pralines and chocolates are made under French master pastry chef Anael Poma. The maker turns out dozens of praline varieties and more than fifty types of chocolate, all shaped and finished by hand rather than on an automated line, using Fair Trade cocoa alongside premium nuts and freeze-dried fruit. What distinguishes Choco Bonté beyond the confectionery is its structure as a social enterprise: the company employs 254 people, of whom 156 — about 85 percent of the Choco Bonté division's staff — have health disabilities, most living in or around Olomouc. Suitable workplaces built around this workforce are treated as core to the business rather than an add-on, tying production capacity directly to the company's stated social mission. The e-shop ships chocolates, teas and coffee nationwide, and the maker also runs its own retail stores in Olomouc, giving a direct route from the workshop to the counter. The result is a chocolatier whose selling point is not novelty flavors but a verifiable production model: skilled, disability-inclusive handwork turning out a genuinely large daily range of pralines and boxed chocolate assortments.
